Key Responsibilities

  • •Teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum and deliver engaging EYFS learning experiences.
  • •Organise the classroom, learning resources, and displays; create a positive learning environment using technology and innovative lesson delivery.
  • •Plan and present lessons that cater for the whole ability range; provide support and interventions for EAL and additional learning needs.
  • •Track and evidence children’s work and progress in line with marking/feedback policy and record attainment and progress using Learning Ladders.
  • •Follow behaviour management and safeguarding processes, including logging concerns on CPOMS, and run weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • •Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
  • •Experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum across the age/ability range.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills.
  • •Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and to the school’s vision and mission.
