Job Summary

Oversee accounts receivable processes for Wasl's real estate portfolio in Dubai, ensuring timely billing, collection, and reconciliations. Manage customer accounts, cash reconciliation, refunds, and issuance of receipts, while coordinating with owners and DREC on settlements and compliance. Work within Finance Operations to maintain accurate AR records and support month-end close.

Key Responsibilities

•Managing Customer Accounts: Reconcile customer accounts for leased units or plots with credit balances, ensuring accurate settlement and invoicing.
•Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile cash collection for wasl/DREC branches with bank deposits, ensuring consistency between bank slips and internal financial records.
•Cheque Withdrawal: Process refunds for withdrawn cheques related to terminated leases.
•Receipts Management: Issue receipts for non-contractual payments and ensure proper documentation against invoices.
•Payment to Owners and Sheiks: Manage the allocation of rent collected on behalf of private building owners, deducting management fees and costs, and ensuring net income is distributed per agreements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent from a recognized university
•Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in accounts receivable or finance roles in a fast-paced environment
•Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent from a recognized university
•Knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards
•Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
