Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

•Develop construction and installation plans, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinating with owners, architects, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
•Incorporate advanced technology and design standards to ensure proper installation and functioning of plumbing and fluid systems; apply load calculations and operating strategies.
•Lead cross-functional project work, laying out equipment installation, and ensuring conformance with permits, schematics, and regulatory documentation.
•Prepare data visualizations and technical drawings (tables, charts, calculations, CAD drawings) for presentation and decision-making.
•Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers and maintain QA/QC in project execution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
•7+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and prior plumbing and mechanical design experience.
•Proficient knowledge of plumbing and mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.
•Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; active involvement in rehabilitation and new design projects.
•Working knowledge of relevant plumbing and mechanical system and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
