Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise production line/department to establish and adjust procedures to meet production schedules, efficiencies, and budget objectives.
  • •Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and facilitate ergonomics while meeting production schedules.
  • •Complete and record daily reporting accurately (departmental reports, attendance/staffing, yields, etc.).
  • •Identify, communicate, and lead efforts to improve processes (throughput, waste reduction, product quality, ergonomics) and address unfavorable trends.
  • •Partner with Quality Assurance and follow safety initiatives, including PPE compliance, to maintain a food-safe and sanitary environment.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting; 3+ years in food manufacturing or the poultry industry preferred.
  • •1+ years of leadership experience, including timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution, and efficient issue resolution.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety requirements, including OSHA guidelines, GMP, and HACCP.
  • •High school diploma (or equivalent); associate’s degree with relevant course work preferred.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) with internal and external customers; multiple languages preferred.
