Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy equipment such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, and compressors.
  • •Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects, dismantle and reassemble equipment, examine parts for damage or excessive wear, and replace defective engines and subassemblies.
  • •Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency and performance.
  • •Weld broken parts and structural members, and assist with cleaning parts and assembly/disassembly as needed.
  • •Repair, adjust, and maintain mining machinery, including stripping/loading shovels, drilling/cutting machines, and continuous mining machines.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
  • •Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening, and receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result.
  • •Ability to bring and use own tools; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
