Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and enhance historization capabilities to support reliable, point-in-time-correct fraud data for downstream model and rule workflows.
  • •Design and develop scalable batch pipelines that complement a Flink-based streaming platform.
  • •Develop robust data quality controls for completeness, freshness, anomaly detection, reconciliation, and business-logic accuracy.
  • •Implement observability tooling to surface pipeline failures, data drift, and quality issues before they impact downstream systems.
  • •Partner with Data Scientists and Fraud Ops to translate fraud-prevention use cases into scalable, resilient data products while keeping consistency between batch and real-time processing.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building production data pipelines and batch pipelines using Python, Airflow, dbt, and BigQuery on GCP or AWS.
  • •Hands-on streaming experience with Apache Flink (or similar), including event time, state, checkpointing, and late-arriving data.
  • •Strong understanding of feature preparation and end-to-end model workflows including training, backtesting, and inference.
  • •Experience building data validation frameworks and observability for monitoring, alerting, and data lineage in production systems.
  • •A track record of owning data solutions from design and implementation through deployment and operations.
