Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare cardboard cartons/trays by folding, taping, sorting, and labeling to pack products for shipping.
  • •Visually inspect final product packaging for integrity (e.g., bag registration, code dates, seals) and remove out-of-spec items.
  • •Fill cartons/displays based on packaging specifications, including proper labels and, if applicable, tapes and seals.
  • •Stack the correct number of cartons/trays on pallets/skids and move finished goods (up to 300 lbs) using a pallet jack if applicable.
  • •Maintain housekeeping/5S by clearing loose product, removing trash, performing sanitation tasks, and supporting line startup and changeovers as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • •Ability to perform frequent physical tasks including stooping/kneeling, walking, bending, pulling/pushing, and repetitive movements.
  • •Ability to lift/carry and handle weights up to 50 lbs occasionally (and up to 25 lbs continuously).
  • •Follow safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures and adhere to 5S protocols to maintain clean work areas.
  • •Perform visual inspections of final product packaging and remove out-of-spec product while communicating packaging problems.
