Job Summary

Review and analyze fraud detection alerts, decide appropriate actions, and communicate findings to customers, bank employees, and offshore fraud call service partners. Support fraud communication via phone and chat, and process fraud check dispute claims through working alerts and inbound inquiries. Collaborate with business units to understand alerted activity, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and escalate fraud matters to supervisory staff when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and decision fraud detection system alerts according to Fraud Department policies and procedures.
•Communicate directly with customers and bank personnel to address fraud risk and concerns, educating on fraud topics as needed.
•Open and prep fraud cases and escalate fraud activity matters to supervisory staff when appropriate.
•Handle fraud communication with bank customers, bank employees, and offshore fraud call service partners via phone and chat.
•Process and decide fraud check dispute claims, including working alerts and inbound call inquiries supporting customers and retail partners.

Key Requirements

•1 to 3 years of experience in fraud, banking, investigative work, or a related field (preferred).
•Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and conflict resolution skills.
•Strong oral and written communication skills for communicating with internal and external customers on fraud matters.
•Functional understanding of federal and state laws and regulations related to fraud, plus bank fraud industry trends.
