Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Co-facilitate event-based surveillance (EBS) and EIOS training for regional CDCs, delivering presentations and at least two training sessions and submitting key observations and recommendations.
  • •Support preparation for technical discussions on draft blood safety regulations for TTI surveillance, including preparing documents, co-facilitating group work, and submitting a summary report.
  • •Support implementation of a national simulation exercise (drill) on preparedness and response to water-related infectious disease by preparing materials, delivering sessions, and submitting a final technical report.
  • •Assist in organizing and co-facilitating electronic surveillance system (ESS) data analytics and visualization training sessions for rCDC epidemiologists, including delivering at least six sessions and preparing a summary report.
  • •Review and update Rapid Response Teams (RRT) framework legislation and activation/deployment SOPs in consultation with UPHC.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 3,600 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Medicine, Epidemiology, public health, or a related field from an accredited/recognized institute.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience working at national and/or international levels in areas related to surveillance, epidemiology, public health, or related fields.
  • •Proven skills delivering training sessions and co-facilitating events, including group sessions.
  • •Sound knowledge of global infectious disease surveillance and outbreak investigation standards, national reporting regulations, and epidemiology/public health context.
  • •Ukrainian (Expert) and English (Expert).
