Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to and/or escalate security incidents received from threat triage.
  • •Tune IDS, proxy policy, and inline malware tools using threat feeds; assess trust/reputation data and downstream vulnerabilities/exploits.
  • •Hunt for suspicious anomalous activity using outputs from monitoring and security toolsets.
  • •Assist incident triage by determining scope, urgency, potential impact, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation.
  • •Prepare and communicate incident reports and weekly customer reports, ensuring adherence to SOC policies, procedures, and playbooks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, cybersecurity and digital forensics, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of relevant experience in systems cyber security analysis.
  • •Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) and/or Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • •Experience with Computer Emergency/Incident Response Team (CERT/CIRT).
  • •Related certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, CEH, GCIA, GCFA, GCIH, CHFI, CTIA, CISM, or OSCP.
