Job Summary

Lead the month-end close and interco/consolidation controllership processes, validating accruals, reconciliations, journal entries, reserve models, and fluctuation analyses. Partner with Treasury, AP, AR, Payroll, and other finance functions to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Ensure SOX compliance and US GAAP (including ASC 606) adherence, support internal/external audits, and prepare schedules for 10-Q/10-K reporting while managing, coaching, and developing a team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the month-end close for Interco & Consolidation controllership, validating accruals, account reconciliations, journal entries, reserve models, and performing fluctuation analyses.
•Partner with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and other functions to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
•Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX controls, and documentation.
•Work with internal and external audit teams by providing supporting audit schedules, evidence, and process overviews.
•Manage and develop a team, including training, coaching, mentoring, and preparing schedules for monthly reviews, quarterly audits, and 10-Q/10-K reporting.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting operations/Shared Service Centre environments, delivering results in multinational settings.
•Masters’ or Bachelors’ degree in Accountancy; Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) is desirable.
•Deep understanding of US SOX compliance requirements with practical experience.
•Strong domain expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606/revenue recognition principles (as applicable).
•Understand ERP systems and be able to learn quickly; experience with tools like Workday Financials, Blackline, eGRC360, Tableau, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, and Slack is desirable.
