  • •Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of infrastructure and platform engineers, coaching professional growth.
  • •Provide front-line leadership to deliver the foundational platform, including multi-cloud design, networking, identity/security, and developer infrastructure and golden paths.
  • •Stay hands-on by becoming familiar with the technical stack to make targeted individual-contributor contributions.
  • •Manage day-to-day execution: prioritize team work and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Guide technical and architectural decisions for scalability, robustness, security, and cost predictability, and manage cloud/infrastructure vendor relationships and deals.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building, mentoring, and growing infrastructure or platform teams while staying hands-on, with comfort scaling to a team of ~10 quickly.
  • •Deep infrastructure or platform engineering experience with production-grade systems at scale.
  • •Strong coding ability and credibility to earn a team’s technical trust.
  • •Deep expertise in at least one area: cloud platforms, network engineering, security architecture, or developer tooling, with working knowledge across the others.
  • •Fluency with modern infra tools: Terraform/Pulumi, Kubernetes, CI/CD and build systems (e.g., Bazel), and observability (Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry), plus experience managing cloud/vendor deals.
