Key Responsibilities

  • •Use industry-leading computer software to support bridge-specific expertise across structural design and bridge assessment.
  • •Contribute to bridge structural design from inception to completion.
  • •Undertake assessment of existing structures through on-site inspection and analysis.
  • •Support structures renewal feasibility studies and scheme management activities.
  • •Participate in on-site works supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on live client projects.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (advantage).
  • •Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering and a demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
