Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • •Plan, prepare, and present sessions for the whole ability range and organize learning resources and classroom displays.
  • •Observe and assess children in line with school assessments, taking responsibility for class progress and using assessment data to guide planning and intervention.
  • •Provide feedback to parents and carers on student progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
  • •Follow the school’s behaviour policy, manage classes effectively, and support wider professional responsibilities including curriculum action groups and school events.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic Education or Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Education.
  • •A related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience in Arabic & Islamic.
  • •Previous experience working with students whose English is not their first language.
  • •Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
