Job Summary

Administer Windows and/or enterprise Linux server environments, including virtualization platforms and storage infrastructure. Monitor availability, capacity, and performance, triage alerts, and restore services per escalation procedures. Execute patching, configuration changes, hardening, and lifecycle maintenance while maintaining inventories, runbooks, and technical documentation. Support incident, problem, and change management with root-cause analysis, and coordinate infrastructure dependencies across network, cloud, backup, cybersecurity, application, and database teams in hybrid on-prem/cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer Windows and/or Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, storage, and associated infrastructure services.
•Monitor availability, capacity, and performance; investigate alerts and restore services per escalation procedures.
•Plan and execute approved patching, configuration changes, hardening, and lifecycle maintenance.
•Maintain server inventories, configuration records, operating procedures, diagrams, and technical runbooks.
•Support incident, problem, and change management including root-cause analysis and corrective actions; coordinate infrastructure dependencies across teams.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 6 years of relevant infrastructure and server administration experience.
•Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or enterprise Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
•Practical knowledge of monitoring, patch management, storage, capacity planning, and security hardening.
•Experience operating hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
•VCP, MCSE/Microsoft role-based certification, RHCSA or Server+ preferred; ability to document clearly and work within controlled change processes.
