Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted.
  • •Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation when the route is complete.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight and operation.

  • •Must pass a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; able to remain focused in a busy environment.
