Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate reusable backend services that provide client data and permissions as a source of truth and expose clean APIs for other domains.
  • •Lead migrations that retire legacy integrations (e.g., Salesforce-to-BOS sync) using clear data contracts and source-of-truth boundaries.
  • •Move complex domain logic (e.g., Lending, Underwriting, Trade Finance workflows) out of Salesforce configuration into purpose-built platforms.
  • •Design new services collaboratively using the RFC process and drive architectural design reviews.
  • •Build production-grade AI (LLM-based chat responses and deterministic workflow triggers) and implement durable orchestration using Temporal, while owning development and maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •5+ years backend software engineering (Senior) / 7+ years with cross-domain architectural impact (Staff), with distributed-systems and cloud-native depth.
  • •Production backend experience across data modeling, API design, async patterns, idempotency, and microservices failure modes (in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js).
  • •Source-of-truth and data-contract systems design, including synchronous vs asynchronous trade-offs and consistency boundaries.
  • •Experience integrating LLMs into production and familiarity with fullstack delivery, including React frontend work; strong communication via RFCs.
