Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the introduction of subcontract operations within current manufacturing processes and support transitions as products move to new suppliers.
  • •Define production/sub-process flow and routings, generating rework process routings driven by delivery requirements.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production of aerospace components and assemblies.
  • •Support MRB processes and non-conforming product investigations, executing corrective actions using structured problem solving methods (8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC).
  • •Specify and validate permits, concessions, SOPs, and specifications; ensure manufacturing processes comply with aerospace standards and support FAIR/production readiness reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Experience in aerospace or a similarly regulated mechanical manufacturing environment.
  • •Demonstrated experience working with subcontractors and supporting transitions into supplier operations.
  • •Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly & integration and fuel systems.
  • •Experience with APQP-related activities and quality/risk methods (e.g., FMEAs, SPC, continuous improvement), plus Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
