Key Responsibilities

  • •Collate and develop understanding of project and technical requirements that shape the airframe assembly build philosophy.
  • •Evaluate and select assembly manufacturing processes for the core platform, supporting development where required and performing tolerance analysis.
  • •Monitor GCAP platform design data as it matures to assess impacts on assembly build philosophy and facility impacts.
  • •Provide technical input into the definition of project standards and assess their impact on the overall assembly build philosophy.
  • •Support the Assembly Producibility team in conducting assembly trade studies when required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 44,907 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a minimum HNC qualification and/or have completed a recognised Craft/Technician apprenticeship.
  • •Experience interpreting engineering data including 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, R Specs and processes.
  • •Excellent team-working skills and comfort working in a rapidly changing early project lifecycle environment.
  • •Be prepared to apply for enhanced security clearances.
  • •Provide technical support to evaluate assembly manufacturing processes and their impacts.
