Job Summary

Develop vertical transportation (lifts and escalators) consultancy deliverables, including design concepts, lift specifications, and traffic simulation outputs. Apply EN81, ASME codes, and local building regulations while producing clear technical reports for clients. Coordinate with project design teams, VT suppliers, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure designs are implemented correctly across disciplines and project stages.

Key Responsibilities

•Use lift traffic design software (Elevate) along with CAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office to develop VT solutions.
•Develop VT design concepts and calculate lift specifications for client requirements.
•Produce technical reports that illustrate the design to clients and their representatives.
•Attend and coordinate meetings with the project design team, VT suppliers, and specialist subcontractors to support implementation.
•Coordinate with local authority departments and relevant stakeholders to obtain approvals across project stages.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
•At least 8+ years of experience in the lift and escalator industry, focused on vertical transportation consultancy and lift design.
•Strong understanding of VT codes, standards, and local building regulations, including expertise in EN81 and ASME codes.
•Ability to manage multiple projects, reviews, and deadlines while adapting to changing demands.
•Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills for technical delivery and client engagement.
