Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery during installation for testing, and remove/replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller and integrate communications between components.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground to complex CAN-network wiring with custom harnesses.
  • •Identify and resolve problems by gathering and analyzing information and developing alternative solutions.
  • •Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards as needed, and occasionally work outside business hours/on weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and experience or familiarity with related hands-on work (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer).
  • •Own tools; ability to follow detailed procedures with excellent attention to detail.
  • •Able to travel within a 250 mile radius for up to a week at a time and clean driving record.
  • •Pass a background check and be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen; potentially clean-shaven for worksites with that requirement.
