Job Summary

Operate a CDL delivery truck to transport heavy equipment safely and on time for construction customers. Use real-time access provided through the company’s technology to manage fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details. Handle loading/unloading, trailer positioning, and required shipping paperwork, and perform routine checks and maintenance reporting. Schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and possible on-call scheduling with additional compensation.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas, follow loading crew signals, and assist with loading and unloading using specialized equipment.
•Maintain and deliver signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork to the appropriate team.
•Facilitate routine service checks (oil, water, gasoline, air) and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight to be operated.
•Pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
•Pass a DOT physical because trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
•Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills and remain focused in a busy environment.
