Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert technical advice on road safety planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and management for major highway projects.
  • •Conduct and review Road Safety Audits across feasibility/design, construction, and pre-opening/operational stages as applicable.
  • •Review highway designs and features (junctions, interchanges, intersections, signage, markings, and other elements) from a road safety perspective and identify hazardous locations/black spots.
  • •Prepare, review, and monitor implementation of Road Safety Management Plans for major/inter-urban highway projects.
  • •Analyze accident/incident and traffic safety information, coordinate with stakeholders to implement corrective measures, and prepare road safety audit/inspection and monitoring documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
  • •Professional experience of at least 10 years handling Highway projects.
  • •Minimum 5 years experience in Road Safety works of major highway projects (4/6 laning projects).
  • •Road Safety Audit experience on at least 2 highway/expressway projects, including 1 at design stage.
  • •Experience in Road Safety Management Plans.
