Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and perform repair, refurbishment, overhaul, assembly, testing, and installation of designated electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
  • •Support preventive and corrective maintenance on FAA and interagency systems, including basic troubleshooting and fault isolation.
  • •Perform equipment performance analyses and collect/record engineering data; prepare and present systems/logistics information.
  • •Prepare FAA and interagency assets for shipment between field sites, vendor locations, and FAALC.
  • •Perform installation and maintenance tasks including tower/radome work at heights in excess of 50 feet, along with corrosion control and operation of jobsite equipment.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School Diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses.
  • •Ability to obtain Public Trust (NACI Clearance).
  • •Estimated monthly travel required: 70%.
  • •Valid driver’s license is required.
  • •Physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions (minimum 125 lbs, maximum 290 lbs) to meet safety/operational requirements.
