Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with hardware design teams to incorporate EMC compliance early in the design process.
•Work cross-functionally with hardware, mechanical, SI/PI, PCB layout, thermal, manufacturing, and regulatory teams through design and qualification.
•Review schematics, PCB layouts, mechanical designs, shielding, grounding, and system architectures to identify EMC risks and recommend improvements.
•Perform pre-compliance and compliance EMC testing with the EMC test team; analyze results and develop practical, cost-effective mitigation solutions.
•Lead EMC debugging using lab instrumentation and support worldwide regulatory certification, while developing EMC design guidelines and managing multiple projects.

Key Requirements

•Strong understanding of electromagnetics, RF theory, antenna theory, transmission lines, and analog/digital circuit fundamentals.
•Solid knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and high-speed digital design principles.
•Hands-on experience reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical designs for EMC compliance.
•Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex electromagnetic interference issues.
•Proficiency with EMC laboratory equipment and strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
