Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive office vehicles for transport of authorized personnel, including field visits, and for delivery/collection of mail and documents.
  • •Meet official personnel and visitors at the airport and facilitate immigration/customs formalities as required.
  • •Check assigned vehicle documentation and supplies (e.g., insurance, logs, first aid kit, spare parts) and ensure GPS/tracking devices are operational.
  • •Perform day-to-day vehicle maintenance, including minor repairs, oil changes, tire/brake checks, and arranging major repairs.
  • •Log official trips (daily mileage and gas/electricity consumption) and report incidents/accidents according to rules and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Secondary, technical, or commercial school education and a valid driving license.
  • •Minimum one year of work experience as a driver with a safe driving record.

  • •Desirable: a basic mechanics' certificate, first aid training, and driving experience for WHO or another UN agency.
