Job Summary

Oversee and continuously improve Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP) at the Sioux Falls plant, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards. Coordinate reporting to location management, track and resolve PSM issues, and support KPI monitoring. Lead training for production and management staff to meet OSHA and emergency response requirements, while contributing to the ISO 45001 certification process.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute strategies to continuously improve PSM processes and maintain program compliance with regulations and company standards.
•Support ISO 45001 certification efforts related to PSM.
•Report on PSM and RMP matters to location management and ensure implementation and maintenance of PSM and RMP requirements.
•Track and report PSM Key Performance Indicators and promptly address and resolve issues identified during PSM activities.
•Help train production employees and management staff to meet OSHA and emergency response regulatory program requirements and company standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Health & Safety, or related field plus 2+ years relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching, or mentoring to less experienced staff, or managing a process or project.
•Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, set goals, and meet commitments on schedule.
•Ability to work long hours, weekends, and remain on-call when required.
•Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and Process Safety Management requirements for ammonia refrigeration.
