Job Summary

Design, implement, and maintain OT/ICS industrial automation control systems, translating OT needs into secure system designs and site-specific procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational safety and performance, including installation, startup, validation, patch management, backups, troubleshooting, upgrades/retrofits, and asset inventory. Support incident/alert response and root-cause analysis, and generate reports and dashboards using OT/IACS and IT/OS tools to keep systems hardened and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in OT/ICS automation and industrial control systems design analysis against business requirements, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
•Coordinate control system engineering activities with business operations and technical teams, including secure design specifications, requirements analysis, and system process optimization.
•Support automation project lifecycle activities: safe, site-specific procedures for design, implementation, maintenance, installation/startup/validation, upgrades/retrofits, and troubleshooting for hardware and software.
•Handle OT/ICS safety and cybersecurity operations including vulnerability handling, system hardening, patch management, incident/alert response, root-cause analysis, and mitigation/work-around planning.
•Manage operational readiness tasks such as asset inventory, control system spare parts oversight, program and system image backups, patching, and reporting/dashboards for system operation and performance.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in industrial automation control systems, preferably in Oil & Gas, Lubricants, Aviation, or Critical Infrastructure.
•Experience with IACS OEMs and automation systems including SCADA, DCS, SIS, HVAC, RTU, and PLC, with OT/IACS cybersecurity skills preferred.
•Knowledge of automation and safety standards such as IEC 61131, IEC 61508/IEC 61511, SIL/FS, ATEX/ANSI, ISA standards, and OT/ICS cybersecurity (IEC 62443) knowledge preferred.
•Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., HART, TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, S7, OPC/OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, BACnet, Profibus, PROFINET).
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Industrial Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related) and ability to troubleshoot MS OS systems and read electrical/instrument schematics (e.g., AutoCAD).
