Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair problems in single layered printed circuit cards and other limited-complexity equipment.
  • •Assemble cables and replace defective components, modules, and assemblies identified as defective.
  • •Operate automatic test equipment programmed to chassis or circuit cards to isolate or locate defective components.
  • •Construct chassis and components using detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout diagrams.
  • •May support work both on the depot and during TDY to CONUS and/or OCONUS locations.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • •Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment Cable Test Evaluation/Exam.
  • •Must have knowledge of Electronics Theory and applications, and complete required cable fabrication training and testing.
  • •Must have experience with tinning, AWG, conductors, and soldering, and be IPC 7711/7721 ready.
  • •Able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, layout diagrams, and work instructions; able to follow written and oral instructions.
