Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care, including educating patients and the public about health conditions and providing advice and emotional support to patients and families.
  • •Assess and re-assess patients, collect pertinent data, analyze assessment information, and determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
  • •Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team, and record vital signs while escalating abnormalities without delay.
  • •Administer medications and monitor for side effects and reactions; deliver treatments such as IV fluids or blood products; and provide wound care management.
  • •Perform essential life support per regulatory requirements (including BLS/PALS/ACLS/Neonatal Resuscitation as applicable) and manage deteriorating patients using Early Warning System escalation and emergency algorithms.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority.
  • •Manage their own professional re-licensure.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
