Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the full range of personal financial counseling services to service members and families at assigned military installations.
  • •Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol and participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree with 4 years or high school diploma with 6 years in lieu of bachelor's.

  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
