Job Summary

Start as a Retail Personal Banker I through a 9-week onboarding and education program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service, followed by a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessments to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling. Proactively reach customers with approved marketing tools, set financial review appointments, support outside sales activities, and partner with Business Partners to refer customers for holistic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities such as Membership Advantage presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Work with assigned Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to refer customers for timely, holistic financial solutions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
