Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or support the design of lighting control systems across hospitality, residential, entertainment, offices, cultural and mixed-use projects.
  • •Develop lighting control strategies, system architecture diagrams, control schematics, equipment schedules and technical specifications.
  • •Coordinate lighting control requirements with architectural lighting design, electrical systems, AV, BMS, ICT, façade, landscape and specialist systems.
  • •Define control zones, dimming groups, scene-setting requirements, user interfaces, sensors, gateways and integration points.
  • •Support the selection and technical review of lighting control equipment, panels, modules, gateways, keypads and control interfaces.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record in designing and delivering lighting control systems within the built environment.
  • •Strong understanding of lighting control protocols including DALI, DALI-2, phase dimming, DMX, 0-10V and related integration methods.
  • •Experience with scene-setting strategies, dimming curves, control zoning, emergency override, astronomical/timeclock control, sensors and user interfaces.
  • •Familiarity with reputable lighting control brands and platforms, including their architecture, configuration principles and typical project applications.
  • •Ability to produce and review control schematics, system architecture diagrams, schedules, specifications and integration requirements.
