Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater and drainage infrastructure for major transport, defence and energy projects.
  • •Provide technical leadership for pit and pipe drainage, open channel systems, culverts, detention and treatment infrastructure, and drainage/flood conveyance networks.
  • •Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, interpreting results and integrating them into design outcomes.
  • •Review and approve technical calculations, design models, drawings, reports and specifications.
  • •Advise project teams and clients on flood risk, drainage strategy, network performance, design criteria and infrastructure resilience; mentor developing engineers and support work winning and proposals in the Perth market.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in stormwater and drainage planning, hydraulic assessment and network design.
  • •Strong stormwater network hydraulics expertise for both underground and surface drainage systems.
  • •Experience delivering major infrastructure projects in a consulting or multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • •Ability to provide technical leadership, design review and mentoring across a team.
  • •Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; CPEng or equivalent professional registration highly regarded.
