Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide professional and operational nursing leadership across designated inpatient clinical areas to ensure safe, effective, and efficient delivery of nursing services.
  • •Lead and promote evidence-based nursing and midwifery practice, ensuring compliance with Dubai Health Authority, UAE Nursing and Midwifery Council, and relevant professional standards.
  • •Oversee inpatient activity including patient flow, bed utilization, admissions, transfers, and discharges, supporting capacity management.
  • •Ensure appropriate nursing staffing levels, skill mix, and deployment based on patient acuity and operational requirements; monitor staffing, capacity, safety, and quality.
  • •Monitor inpatient service KPIs and implement performance and service improvement initiatives, while managing relevant cost centers with Finance.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior nursing leadership/management position with significant responsibility for inpatient clinical services.
  • •Recent experience within a relevant service environment, including experience within the last two years.
  • •UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA) and registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in nursing (minimum two years course duration).
  • •Master’s level qualification or relevant postgraduate studies are desirable; an educational/teaching qualification is desirable or willingness to undertake it within an agreed timeframe.
