Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Substation BIM standards, workflows, and best practices, including BIM content libraries and templates.
  • •Provide BIM modeling, drafting, and production support; perform quality control reviews and troubleshoot BIM software/workflow issues.
  • •Support client-specific BIM/CAD/digital delivery requirements and serve as a technical point of contact for BIM-related discussions.
  • •Support project execution by assisting with scoping, scheduling, budgeting, work plans, and coordinating BIM activities across teams and partners.
  • •Mentor and train designers, drafters, and BIM professionals; lead knowledge-sharing and maintain BIM training documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, BIM, Architecture, Construction Management) or an Associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • •10+ years of experience in BIM, CAD, design, or engineering support roles.
  • •2+ years supporting electric utility, power delivery, or substation projects.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading BIM standards development, implementation, and project execution.
  • •Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Civil 3D/AutoCAD/Navisworks.
