Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end performance analysis and optimization for AMD CPU Cores.
  • •Partner with Core Architecture and RTL teams to deliver CPU cores meeting or exceeding program objectives.
  • •Manage performance modeling and analysis requirements across the CPU core roadmap.
  • •Represent the Performance Team and report regular progress toward program goals.
  • •Communicate program, organization, and company updates to the team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 189,070 - 324,120 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience managing CPU performance analysis and optimization efforts and large engineering teams (20+ engineers).
  • •Working knowledge of CPU performance across Early Investigation, Core Architecture, Performance Modeling, Analysis and Correlation, and Post-Silicon Performance Validation.
  • •Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and validation teams.
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Hands-on experience with modern ISAs (e.g., x86-64, Armv8/Armv9, or RISC-V) in performance analysis and optimization contexts.
