Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialized care for adult patients undergoing elective and emergency surgeries, including post-operative management and complex interventions such as EVD, lumbar drains, traction devices, ICDs, and tracheostomies.
  • •Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for adult patients undergoing elective and emergency surgeries across multiple specialties, including OB/Gynaecology, Breast, ENT, Orthopaedic, Neuro, Maxillofacial, Dental, and General Surgery.
  • •Provide advanced pain management, including PCA and epidural infusions, to ensure safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • •Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in accordance with the organization’s policy and procedures and the unit scope of service.
  • •Demonstrates knowledge in and compliance with the completion of documentation in an appropriate timeframe according to Healthcare Facility (HCF) policies and guidelines

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor Degree in Nursing; or Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or USA with minimum two (2) years course duration and Successful completion of the National exam: USA NCLEX - RN, Canada Licensing Exam
  • •DOH License or Eligibility
  • •Minimum two (2) years clinical experience post qualification in Surgical unit
