Job Summary

Underwrite new and renewal property business for corporate clients in Helsinki, building a portfolio, performing risk selection and pricing, negotiating contracts, and developing propositions to support Zurich’s growth in the Finnish market.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a portfolio of contracts and corporate customers, including risk selection, pricing, coverage quotations, and contract negotiations.
•Underwrite new and renewal business and develop relationships to support customer acquisition and retention.
•Contribute ideas for development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer and distributor insights.
•Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive Zurich’s growth in the market.
•Collaborate with customers and colleagues to deliver high-quality underwriting and customer service.

Key Requirements

•Experience or familiarity with corporate property insurance, gained through roles in the insurance industry (e.g. insurer, insurance broker, corporate risk and insurance management or related field).
•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, risk management, economics or equivalent field.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Finnish.
•Strong data processing skills and analytical mindset.
•Knowledge of risk selection and pricing and other core elements within underwriting.
