Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop backend systems and APIs for ingesting, processing, and routing data.
  • •Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend code that meets customer outcomes.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to translate feature specifications into implementable product designs and code.
  • •Create rich test plans and comprehensive automated tests to ensure features work as expected.
  • •Maintain end-to-end ownership of software, including regular participation in the team’s on-call/support rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, basic networking, and operating systems concepts, with an interest in distributed systems.
  • •Demonstrated experience building products that leverage large-scale data sets using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • •Strong knowledge of distributed systems and scalability, including systems-level debugging, networking, and performance profiling/tuning.
  • •Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development, plus a strong sense of ownership for high-quality deliverables.
