Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to implementation of HCT’s system-wide strategy and assist with development/preservation of system-wide and Faculty/Division-specific policies.
  • •Teach courses aligned with course syllabus and program goals, using practical applied approaches and educational technology resources.
  • •Monitor and support student learning in a second-language environment by providing continuous feedback through tests, projects, assignments, and other assessments.
  • •Evaluate students, update grades, contribute to question banks/coursework assessments, and support course management and continuous improvement activities.
  • •Conduct applied research aligned to the faculty’s interests and the national innovation agenda; participate in conferences, mentor student research, and serve on committees and student activities.

Key Requirements

  • •A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
  • •Or a Master’s degree plus a professional certification relevant to the discipline with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
  • •Or a Bachelor’s degree may be considered with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per the discipline requirement.
  • •Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
  • •Experience developing course curriculum per accreditation and international standards, and incorporating educational technology into instruction.
