Key Responsibilities

•Participate in designing and implementing storage engines for distributed databases using cloud-native architecture to build an industry-leading OLAP system.
•Own or support engine-related design, implementation, testing, optimization, integration, and related engineering work.
•Build storage engines targeting high throughput, low latency, and high fault tolerance; analyze performance bottlenecks to improve system behavior.
•Track cutting-edge database technologies and explore or implement opportunities for new technologies.
•Contribute to re-architecture and scalability/resource utilization improvements for the analytical database platform.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related technical background) or equivalent software/system engineering experience.
•Proficiency in one or more languages including C/C++.
•Solid computer science foundation including data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, I/O, and operating system scheduling.
•Familiarity with database storage engine design/implementation or distributed storage modules (e.g., ClickHouse, Greenplum, MySQL, Doris, K/V).
•Experience participating in or leading design and development of storage engines for mainstream open-source or enterprise-level systems.
