Job Summary

Support spare parts procurement for Boeing and heritage McDonnell Douglas commercial airplane models by reviewing engineering drawings and specifications and building technical data packages for suppliers. Create quote backup sheets and assembly outlines, develop BOMs, interpret standards, and coordinate with design and other engineering teams to resolve drawing and producibility issues. Work onsite at the Seal Beach facility and may travel up to 10% to support supplier-related needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Use SAP, REDARS, Bridge, PDM, and other engineering tools to create Quote Backup Sheets (QBS) for Boeing and McDonnell Douglas products across commodity and part types.
•Review engineering documents and blueprints to develop assembly outlines and Bills of Materials (BOM) for airplane components and assemblies.
•Interpret Industry/Company standards and processes and interface with Design Engineering to resolve design issues and drawing updates.
•Coordinate with engineering groups to ensure requirements are met and determine manufacturing processes for metallic and non-metallic parts.
•Resolve supplier issues related to part producibility, drawing interpretation, and obsolete engineering requirements, while communicating technical details to stakeholders.

•1+ years of experience supporting or working with manufacturing or engineering teammates or in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
