Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the unloading, sorting, and segregation of materials to maximise recycling opportunities.
  • •Support safe and efficient movement of vehicles across site, including traffic management and directing users safely.
  • •Carry out daily inspections of plant and vehicles and complete required reporting and documentation.
  • •Maintain site records, including delivery notes and site diaries, ensuring accurate administration.
  • •Maintain high cleanliness standards across the transfer station, depot, equipment, and surrounding areas, while following health and safety requirements and supporting inductions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Telehandler Licence, or be willing to obtain one through training within three months of joining.
  • •Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
  • •Follow health and safety requirements and commit to safe working practices.
  • •Work independently, use your initiative, and contribute positively as part of a team.
  • •Can follow verbal and written instructions; experience in plant or machine driving, transfer station operations, and basic IT skills are advantageous.
