Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the smooth administration and day-to-day transactional processing for the Broking Unit.
  • •Ensure accurate, complete, and timely processing of broking activities (invoices, policies, AMLA documents, summaries of cover, and renewal reporting).
  • •Support pre-renewal strategy meetings, underwriting submissions, and approach insurance markets.
  • •Provide risk advisory support to clients on Financial Lines and Casualty insurance products and conduct insurance/product research.
  • •Lead mid-sized scheme business management, including roadshows, renewal retention, business growth, and supporting claims administration and client updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in any discipline, preferably Law (LL.B), Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or ACII.
  • •3 to 5 years of insurance industry experience as a broker and/or underwriter.
  • •Fluent in English and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of Financial Specialties insurance and broad understanding across multiple lines of business.
  • •Operationally efficient, meticulous, and able to manage complex scheme risks (scheme management experience is an advantage).
