Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform detailed design of low to extra-high voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, and physical layouts.
  • •Develop electrical design details such as cable/conduit plans, ground grid design, foundation and structural plans, control enclosure details, lightning protection, and yard lighting.
  • •Create bills of materials and other station deliverables and complete complex designs individually or within a team.
  • •Support QA/QC for deliverables to clients and ensure adherence to client standards and processes.
  • •Contribute to transmission line design work (new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions) and perform site visits as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering), BSREE (BS Renewable Energy Engineering), or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree from an accredited university (preferably with a power option).
  • •2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical engineering with ability to build on existing fundamentals.
  • •Good written and oral English communication skills to work with internal teams and external client personnel.
  • •Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship.
