Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the commercial strategic direction for the Benchtop & Woodworking Finished Goods portfolio across multiple brands.
  • •Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to improve service, quality, and total cost of ownership for a ~$185M spend portfolio.
  • •Negotiate, implement, and manage supplier contracts, SLAs, and supplier relationships, driving year-over-year productivity.
  • •Run global supplier account reviews to set performance metrics and measurable corrective action plans; communicate and mitigate risks.
  • •Prepare RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals, and institute world-class sourcing techniques while coordinating continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area; electrical/electronic or manufacturing engineering preferred.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in global strategic sourcing or procurement, including supplier selection and contract negotiations (exclusivity and NDA agreements).
  • •Experience managing finished goods categories with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing processes, costs, and materials; ability to build cost models and monitor raw material market trends.
  • •Strong influencing/negotiation skills with experience managing complexity and multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
