Job Summary

Join Arista Networks as a Technical Solutions Engineer (TAC) to provide post-sales technical support for Datacenter and Campus networking products. You’ll troubleshoot complex network issues, work closely with HW/SW/sales teams, recreate issues in labs, and contribute to product quality programs while continually learning cutting-edge networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Post-sales technical support of Arista Datacenter and Campus products and solutions.
•Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or email.
•Resolve customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance, product application, or compatibility matters.
•Troubleshoot problems with hardware equipment and software applications and recommend corrective action.
•Recreate customer network issues in a dedicated lab environment (as needed).
•Document customer communication and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.

Key Requirements

•BS in a technical field (CS/Networking majors preferred)
•Proficiency with TCP/IP and core networking concepts and protocols (ARP, BGP, DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, etc)
•Networking troubleshooting tools (IXIA, tcpdump, Wireshark)
•Programming/scripting proficiency in C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, or shell
•Knowledge of Containers (Kubernetes, Docker) and SDN networking concepts
