Job Summary

Secure NEO end-to-end by auditing and hardening the software, operating systems, cryptographic trust chain, networks, and cloud services that power humanoid robots in home environments. Partner with Robotics, AI, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing teams to lead security initiatives, run penetration tests and threat models, and design secure-by-default systems. Contribute production code for secure boot, code-signing, attestation flows, and hardened services while shaping large-scale security architecture for provisioning and updates.

Key Responsibilities

•Audit code and systems across the NEO stack (bootloader/Linux userspace, cloud services, and CI/CD) to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
•Lead end-to-end security initiatives as the technical point of contact, partnering with engineering teams to build secure-by-default systems.
•Conduct penetration tests, threat models, and risk assessments to prioritize the most critical issues.
•Design and contribute production code for security-critical components like secure boot chains, code-signing pipelines, attestation flows, and hardened services.
•Help define the security architecture for provisioning, deployment, updates, and operations of humanoid robots at scale.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in product security, offensive security, or a closely related engineering role.
•Strong experience with Linux operating system internals and security mechanisms (namespaces, syscall filtering, hardening, least-privilege service design).
•Proficiency in software development and code auditing, with shipping experience in C, C++, Rust, Go, or Python.
•Penetration testing experience against real production systems.
•Security expertise in one or more areas such as secure/verified boot and trusted execution, cryptography/PKI and HSM-backed trust, cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), or secure firmware update systems; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
