Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent areas of knowledge and skills by teaching with precept and example, promoting values such as truth, justice, equality of opportunity, human rights, benevolence, and compassion.
  • •Plan and deliver lessons that account for individual learning needs and learning styles, and motivate pupils to achieve beyond expectations.
  • •Use excellent subject knowledge and pedagogic skills to engage students and make full use of ICT and new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • •Assess, record, and report on students’ development and progress, including setting targets and providing regular feedback.
  • •Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and communicate regularly with parents while supporting fair disciplinary practices and protecting children through safeguarding procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Education of the subject or a related subject plus a valid teaching license, or a diploma teaching qualification.
  • •Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the subject.
  • •Demonstrate secure subject and curriculum knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to pupils’ strengths and needs.
  • •Plan and teach well-structured lessons, using effective lesson time and appropriate homework/out-of-class activities.
  • •Commit to assessment, recording, and reporting on pupils’ progress while upholding safeguarding and child protection requirements.
