Key Responsibilities

•Represent areas of knowledge and skills by teaching with precept and example, promoting values such as truth, justice, equality of opportunity, human rights, benevolence, and compassion.
•Plan and deliver lessons that account for individual learning needs and learning styles, and motivate pupils to achieve beyond expectations.
•Use excellent subject knowledge and pedagogic skills to engage students and make full use of ICT and new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
•Assess, record, and report on students’ development and progress, including setting targets and providing regular feedback.
•Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and communicate regularly with parents while supporting fair disciplinary practices and protecting children through safeguarding procedures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Education of the subject or a related subject plus a valid teaching license, or a diploma teaching qualification.
•Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the subject.
•Demonstrate secure subject and curriculum knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to pupils’ strengths and needs.
•Plan and teach well-structured lessons, using effective lesson time and appropriate homework/out-of-class activities.
•Commit to assessment, recording, and reporting on pupils’ progress while upholding safeguarding and child protection requirements.
